If you work or play in a multi-person environment, and own the Windows computer, you might like to scare away casual users by adding a text caption notice which will pop up just before the logon screen. Open the Registry and look for this string:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\CurrentVersion\WinLogon
Right-click in the right pane and select 'New->String' and name it 'LegalNoticeCaption'. Create another string and name it 'LegalNoticeText' and type in the text that will appear in the logon dialog box. The next time somebody logs onto Windows, a new dialog box with a warning message will show up before they can log into your computer.
